Gospel - centered apologetics
We have an amazing Bible. We have the very word of God, His revelation to mankind at our disposal. Whether printed or digital, most folks have access to every known translation in their pocket. In addition, we also are blessed to have nearly unlimited commentary, explanation and hermeneutical* instruction to aid us in learning what all Scripture actually says and means. We have the correct writings. We have not been deceived by some shady religious or government committee, secretly scheming to keep some special knowledge about God from our attentions. Frankly, given what you know and have learned about God do you think such a plan would even work? You will hear of “The Lost Books of the Bible” or maybe you’ll read a headline, “The Secret Writings the Church Doesn’t Want You to See”. YouTube, History Channel, and other venues are fascinated by the different writings that for various reasons were not included in the canon. We are going to talk about some of that today and attempt to shred some light on the “what” and the “why” of some of those “lost books.” *Hermeneutics - the branch of knowledge that deals with interpretation and study of the Bible and/or literary works. Additional Resources:
". . . and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Matthew 28:20

Thank you for your willingness to help us strengthen our ministry
